Automotive

There are over 17 million cars and motorcycles registered in Australia, but for Australians, cars are a passion as much as a means of transport. With over $170 billion in revenue annually the automotive industry currently employs over 298,225 people which translates to great career opportunities for skilled technicians in all areas. The Motor Vehicle Engine and Parts Repair and Maintenance industry has grown over the past five years with revenue of $15 billion and annual growth of 2.1%.  TAFE New England can offer you the accredited courses you’ll need to build a successful career as a qualified motor mechanic, workshop supervisor, automotive electrician, business owner, or even as a motorsport specialist as part of a race team.
