Feedback,Suggestions & Complaints
The New England Institute welcomes complaints, suggestions and other feedback.
They help staff to meet expectations, remedy problems and improve systems. We have a system in place to ensure concerns are dealt with quickly and fairly. On the other hand if you would like to tell us about something we do well, then we would love to hear about it!
How you can make a suggestion or a complaint
You can make a suggestion orally or in writing. If it cannot be immediately and completely dealt with by the staff member recieving the request, we may ask you to put it in writing.
It is important that we try to resolve the problem in the first instance. Students are encouraged to discuss the matter with their teacher or TAFE Counsellor and if a resolution is not possible please fill out a complaint form.
How your Suggestion or Complaint will be handled
When a suggestion or complaint is received it will be assessed for it's nature and seriousness. We will acknowledge it in writing and we will try to give you an indication of the timeframe for us to resolve any actions.
Know your rights
Before lodging a complaint, you should read about your rights and responsibilties as a student.
