Step One - Find out all about apprenticeships and traineeships
Step Two - Find an apprentice or trainee
- advertise a job vacancy
- approach a Job Network Agency
- change the status of an existing employee
- partner with a Group Training Company
Step Three - Choose a Registered Training Organisation
- The New England Institute offers quality options for training and assessment of apprentices and trainees
Step Four - Complete a Training Contract
- Contact your local Australian Apprenticeship Centre (AAC) to complete an Apprenticeship or Traineeship training contract for your proposed apprentice or trainee
- A summary of your contract will be forwarded to the New England Institute by the AAC
- You will also be contacted by the Institute to discuss the commencement of you new apprentice or trainee’s training
Step Five - Submit Contract
- Your Australian Apprenticeship Centre (AAC) submits the contract to the Department of Education and Training (DET) for approval
- DET will advise you in writing of the approval of the application
Step Six - Commence Training
- Your apprentice or trainee begins a course with the New England Institute
- We offer flexible on campus, online and in the workplace study options
