The New England Institute CISCO Networking Academy program prepares students for CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification and professional career opportunities in Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Students gain practical skills in designing, configuring and installing computer internetworks using equipment such as routers and switches - ICT skills that employers want.

Semester 1 2013 Courses at New England Institute
CCNA Exploration
This program teaches networking protocols and theory at a university course level. Students learn the basics of routing, switching, and advanced technologies to prepare for the CCNA certification and entry level networking careers. (Cert 4 and Diploma level - this is currently the main program offered by the NEI CISCO Networking Academy). These courses can also be included in your studies towards other TAFE ICT qualifications.

This program teaches networking concepts and applications relevant to home and small business networks (Cert 3 and Cert 4 level)
