Armidale Campus
Armidale is set high on the New England Tablelands and is known as the educational centre of the region. As well as the TAFE Campus, there is the University of New England and three major private schools. The Pacific coast and its beaches are just over two hours drive away.
Armidale is a major campus within the New England Institute. We specialise in flexible and innovative training in the following areas:
- Trades & Primary Industries: agriculture, horticulture, horse industry practice, sheep & wool, building & construction, carpentry & joinery, automotive, and engineering/metal fabrication.
- Business & Creative Services: business, management, accounting, information technology, fine arts, graphic design, screen & media and film & television.
- Human & Personal Services: children’s services, health & community services, allied health, tourism & hospitality, massage, fitness, outdoor recreation and nursing.
- General Education & Equity Services: general education, tertiary preparation for university entry, literacy & numeracy; English as a Second Language, Career Education for Women and Envirolearn.
Enrolment Information
The Armidale Campus is now open for Semester 2, 2010 enrolments between the hours of 8.30 am and 4.30 pm. To enrol, visit the front office in A Block (off Beardy Street) and a staff member will direct you to the appropriate enrolling officer (teacher) for the course you wish to undertake.
