Recognition
Did you know that when you enroll in a TAFE NSW course, the skills, knowledge and experience you have gained from your previous learning, work experience and life in general may be taken into account? This is known as recognition of prior learning and more often, simply called recognition.
Recognition can mean that you complete your studies faster.
Think about your skills and knowledge. You can apply for recognition towards your TAFE NSW - New England Institute qualification if you have:
- completed previous study at TAFE NSW
- completed study other institutions in Australia
- gained skills and qualifications overseas
- relevant work and life experience
