TVET for High School Students

Do you want to get a head start on a real career while still at school? TAFE Delivered Vocational Education and Training (TVET) subjects will ensure you gain workplace skills and experience while studying industry related courses. How do I apply for a TVET course?

All students in Years 11 and 12 from both government and non-government schools are eligible to apply to study a TVET course. Students can usually begin applying from the beginning of Term 3.

Application forms are available from your school Careers Adviser or from your local TAFE New England TVET Coordinator. The application form must be signed by your parent or guardian and by the school Principal or delegate prior to submission to TAFE New England.
